  As a member of MER, you will receive the , published three times per year. The Journal of Museum Education is the premier publication reporting on theory, training, and practice in the museum education field. Each issue focuses on a specific theme of interest to informal educators, museum administrators, researchers, and other education practitioners. 
  
  MER has partnered with Left Coast Press to produce the Journal. Please visit Left Coast Press to view preview upcoming editions.
  
  We encourage MER members to join in a national conversation by discussing journal articles with their peers in person and online.  Share your opinions and ideas on the MER Network Blog.

  There are several ways to play an active role in MER.  We invite you to lend your expertise to MER working committees and task forces that shape national programs, workshops and publications.  MER hosts a member’s reception at the American Association of Museum’s Annual Convention, as well as several programs in the Washington DC area, and assists in promoting other regional meetings.
