General Information about Roundtable Sessions

Museum Education Roundtable's programs and workshops offer forums for discussing issues, clarifying agendas, and examining current theory and practice. These opportunities for leadership training and networking with peers in the museum and education professionals are held in the metropolitan areas of Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia as well as other locations. Program summaries appear in the newsletter Network. Program notes are available to members on request.

MER roundtable sessions are conceived as workshops, with half of the program committed to informal presentations and half to active participant engagement. While MER encourages interactive learning and participation in all of its programs, roundtable sessions are uniquely focused on audience involvement.
